| 24. Formal Translation And Ahaz gathered the vessels of the house of God {Elohim, Sanctuary Guardian} and cut them into pieces, and he shut the doors of the house of the LORD {Yahweh, Temple Sovereign}, and he set up altars for himself in every corner of Jerusalem. |
| 24. Dynamic Translation Ahaz collected all the vessels from God’s temple {Elohim, Holy Presence} and broke them up. Then he closed the doors of the LORD’s temple {Yahweh, Covenant Ruler} and set up his own altars throughout Jerusalem on every corner. |
