וַיִּֽהְי֨וּ{va-yih-YU###vah-yih-YOO###and they were} הָרָצִ֜ים{ha-ra-TSIM###haa-rah-TSIHM###the runners} עֹבְרִ֨ים{o-ve-RIM###oh-veh-RIHM###passing through} מֵעִ֧יר{me-IR###mee-EER###from a city} לָעִ֛יר{la-IR###laa-EER###to a city} בְּאֶֽרֶץ־אֶפְרַ֥יִם{be-E-rets-e-fe-ra-YIM###beh-EH-rehts-eh-feh-rah-YEEM###in the land of Ephraim} וּמְנַשֶּׁ֖ה{u-me-na-SHE###oo-meh-nah-SHEH###and Manasseh} וְעַד־זְבֻל֑וּן{ve-ad-ze-vu-LUN###veh-ahd-zeh-vuh-LUHN###and as far as Zebulun} וַיִּֽהְיוּ֙{va-yih-YU###vah-yih-YOO###and they were} מַשְׂחִיקִ֣ים{ma-se-khi-KIM###mah-seh-khih-KEEM###laughing} עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם{a-le-HEM###ah-leh-HEHM###at them} וּמַלְעִגִ֖ים{u-mal-i-GIM###oo-mahl-eh-GIHM###and mocking} בָּֽם׃{BAM###BAAM###them}
