| 26. Formal Translation Hezekiah humbled himself over the pride of his heart, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem likewise humbled themselves; therefore the wrath of the LORD {Yahweh, Merciful Restraint} did not come upon them in the days of Hezekiah. |
| 26. Dynamic Translation When Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem humbled themselves and let go of their pride, the LORD {Yahweh, Withholding Judgment} did not bring His anger upon them during the days of Hezekiah. |
