13. Formal Translation And when the trumpeters and singers stood as one to produce a single sound, they praised and gave thanks to the LORD {Yahweh, Voice of Praise}, and as they lifted up their voice with trumpets, cymbals, and instruments of song, they proclaimed, “For He is good, for His steadfast love is everlasting.” Then the house was filled with a cloud—the house of the LORD. |
13. Dynamic Translation The trumpeters and singers joined together like one, blending their voices to praise and thank the LORD. With trumpets, cymbals, and all kinds of instruments, they praised the LORD {Yahweh, Joyful Conductor}, singing, “He is good; His love never ends.” Then the house—the house of the LORD—was filled with a cloud. |
