28. Formal Translation When famine occurs in the land, or when plague, blight, mildew, locusts, or grasshoppers strike, or when their enemies besiege them in the cities of their land, and when every plague or every disease comes. |
28. Dynamic Translation If famine strikes the land, or plague or blight or mildew appears, or locusts or grasshoppers swarm the land, or if enemies surround them in any of their towns, whatever disaster or sickness comes. |
