12. Formal Translation And the LORD {Yahweh, Theophanic Initiator} appeared to Solomon at night and said to him, “I have heard your prayer, and I have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice.” |
12. Dynamic Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Personal Responder} showed Himself to Solomon during the night and told him, “I have listened to your prayer, and I have picked this place for Myself as a temple for offerings.” |
