11. Formal Translation And the king made supports of the algum wood for the house of the LORD {Yahweh, Sanctuary Dedication} and for the king’s palace, and harps and lyres for the singers. Nothing like them had ever been seen before in the land of Judah. |
11. Dynamic Translation The king used the algum wood to build supports for the Temple of the LORD {Yahweh, Place of Worship} and for his own palace, as well as harps and lyres for the musicians. No such things had ever been seen before in all the land of Judah. |
