| 22. Formal Translation But if you say to me, “In the LORD our God {Yahweh Eloheinu, Object of Trust} we have trusted”—is He not the One whose high places and altars Hezekiah removed, and who said to Judah and Jerusalem, ‘Before this altar you shall bow down in Jerusalem’?” |
| 22. Dynamic Translation But if you tell me, “We are putting our trust in the LORD our God {Yahweh Eloheinu, Faith Focus}”—is He not the One whose high places and altars Hezekiah tore down, telling the people of Judah and Jerusalem, ‘You must worship only at this altar in Jerusalem’?” |
