| 22. Formal Translation And David said, “What is it to me and to you, sons of Zeruiah, that you should become for me an adversary today? Shall any man in Israel be put to death today? For do I not know that today I am king over Israel?” |
| 22. Dynamic Translation David responded, “Why do you sons of Zeruiah seek to oppose me today? Should anyone in Israel be executed this day? Do I not realize that today I am king over Israel?” |
