| 22. Formal Translation And the woman came to all the people with her wisdom, and they cut off the head of Sheba son of Bichri and threw it to Joab. Then he blew the trumpet, and they scattered from the city, each man to his tent. And Joab returned to Jerusalem to the king. |
| 22. Dynamic Translation The woman went to everyone in the town and, using her wisdom, the people cut off Sheba’s head and tossed it to Joab. Then Joab blew the ram’s horn, and his troops dispersed from the city, each going back to his home. Joab then went back to the king in Jerusalem. |
