16. Formal Translation And it came to pass as the ark of the LORD {Yahweh, Holy Presence} was entering the city of David, Michal, daughter of Saul, looked out through the window and saw King David leaping and whirling before the LORD, and she despised him in her heart. |
16. Dynamic Translation When the ark of the LORD {Yahweh, Worship Center} came into David’s city, Michal, Saul’s daughter, watched from the window. When she saw King David dancing and spinning before the LORD, she felt deep scorn for him in her heart. |
