19. Formal Translation Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God {Theos, Sure Foundation} stands, having this seal: “The Lord {Kyrios, All-Knowing Judge} has known those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness.” |
19. Dynamic Translation But God’s {Theos, Faithful Guardian} solid foundation stands firm, marked with this seal: “The Lord {Kyrios, Sovereign Recognizer} knows who belong to Him,” and, “Everyone who calls on the Lord’s name must turn away from evil.” |
