41. Formal Translation Not to all the people, but to witnesses who had been chosen beforehand by God {Theos, Sovereign Chooser}, to us who ate with Him and drank with Him after He rose from the dead. |
41. Dynamic Translation He was not shown to everyone, but only to those witnesses whom God {Theos, Purposeful Revealer} had already chosen—namely us, who shared food and drink with Him after He rose from the dead. |
