25. Formal Translation
And as John was completing his course, he was saying, “What do you suppose me to be? I am not he, but behold, One is coming after me, the sandal of whose feet I am not worthy to loosen.”
25. Dynamic Translation
While John was finishing his mission, he used to say, “Who do you think I am? I am not the one you are looking for. But look, someone is coming after me, and I am not worthy to untie the sandals on his feet.”
