27. Formal Translation For those who dwell in Jerusalem and their rulers, not recognizing Him {Iesous, Rejected Messiah} or the voices of the prophets that are read every Sabbath, by condemning Him they fulfilled them. |
27. Dynamic Translation The people living in Jerusalem, together with their leaders, failed to recognize Him {Iesous, Suffering Redeemer} or the messages of the prophets that are read every Sabbath, and by condemning Him they actually brought those words to fulfillment. |
