27. Formal Translation
For those who dwell in Jerusalem and their rulers, not recognizing Him {Iesous, Rejected Messiah} or the voices of the prophets that are read every Sabbath, by condemning Him they fulfilled them.
27. Dynamic Translation
The people living in Jerusalem, together with their leaders, failed to recognize Him {Iesous, Suffering Redeemer} or the messages of the prophets that are read every Sabbath, and by condemning Him they actually brought those words to fulfillment.
