| 9. Formal Translation But when some were being hardened and were not believing, speaking evil of the Way before the multitude, he withdrew from them and separated the disciples, discussing daily in the school of Tyrannus. |
| 9. Dynamic Translation But when some people became stubborn and refused to believe, and started criticizing the Way in front of the crowd, he left them, took the disciples with him, and taught every day in the lecture hall of Tyrannus. |
