| 14. Formal Translation But he said, “The God {Theos, Covenant Faithful Father} of our fathers designated you in advance to discern His will, to behold the Righteous One, and to hear a voice issuing from His mouth.” |
| 14. Dynamic Translation Then he said, “The God {Theos, Gracious Chooser} of our ancestors has set you apart to discover what He intends, to see the Righteous One, and to hear a voice coming directly from His own mouth.” |
