| 29. Formal Translation But Paul said, “I would wish to God {Theos, Hearer Of Prayer} that, whether in a little or in much, not only you but also all who are hearing me today might become such as I am—except for these chains.” |
| 29. Dynamic Translation Paul replied, “My prayer is to God {Theos, Giver Of Salvation} that, whether in a short time or in a long time, not only you but everyone listening to me today would become like I am—apart from these chains.” |
