25. Formal Translation
But as they were disagreeing with one another, they began to leave after Paul had spoken one statement: “The Holy Spirit {Pneuma Hagion, Faithful Speaker} spoke rightly through Isaiah the prophet to our fathers.”
25. Dynamic Translation
Because they could not agree among themselves, they started to leave after Paul gave this single message: “The Holy Spirit {Pneuma Hagion, Prophetic Witness} was right in speaking through Isaiah the prophet to our ancestors.”
