10. Formal Translation
Amaziah, the priest of Bethel, sent a message to Jeroboam, king of Israel, saying, “Amos has conspired against you in the midst of the house of Israel; the land is not able to endure all his words.”
10. Dynamic Translation
Amaziah, the priest at Bethel, sent a report to Jeroboam, the king of Israel: “Amos is scheming against you from inside Israel itself; the land cannot endure all his words.”
