Place your deepest confidence in God rather than in human support alone

Assume that a well-armed force is safe from collapse

Treat closeness as enough reason to stop using discernment

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit my sin and my need for you. I have trusted fragile things and tried to save myself, but I turn from my sin now. Come to the One Who Saves

Lord, revive your Church where we have trusted human strength, hidden behind appearances, or wounded one another from within. Make us faithful, honest, and steady in love. Teach us to depend on you, not on fragile alliances, and let your people stand together with integrity and courage, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church's Faithfulness

Father, guard me from placing my deepest confidence in people, systems, or my own strength. Give me discernment to see what is true, humility to listen, and peace when what looks secure begins to shake, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Guard Me from Fragile Trust

Pray by naming one place where you lean hardest on human support. Ask God to show you where that support is fragile, to give you wiser trust, and to show one small step of obedience for today.

Pray Through Misplaced Confidence

Thank God that betrayal, collapse, and violent loss do not escape his notice. Thank him that his faithfulness is stronger than the plans of people and the strength of armies.

Thanks for God Above Human Schemes

Pray for people hurt by betrayal, broken trust, or conflict that spreads quickly. Ask God to protect leaders, heal communities, and keep many from being drawn into destructive choices.
