The stores of gold, silver, and Egypt's valued goods

The water of the Nile and the harvest season

Hold it loosely and use it to bless others

Treat it as proof that you are spiritually superior

Use it mainly to protect your comfort and security

Wait to be generous until you have far more than you do now

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have chased wealth, status, and control instead of you. I have sinned and I cannot save myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and open my life to you. Be my Lord and my Savior, and lead me into your kingdom above every earthly treasure. Amen.

Lord of Every Treasure

Lord, revive your Church where we have been dazzled by riches and power. Free us from measuring success by what we own or who follows us, and teach us to follow Jesus closely. Make us humble, generous, and faithful, so your people reflect your kingdom more than this world, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew Your Church's First Love

Father, thank you for every gift you place in our hands, for the resources we receive, and for the reminder that all wealth belongs to you. Teach us to receive your provision with gratitude and to use it well, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Thank You for Every Provision

Bring one decision about money or influence before God. Thank him for what he has given, name any fear or pride attached to it, and ask for wisdom to use it for good.

Pray Before You Spend

Pray for: leaders who handle great resources; workers and families affected by concentrated wealth; the courage for those with influence to serve justly rather than exploit.

People Under Powerful Systems

Father, forgive me for envying wealth, fearing loss, or trusting influence more than you. I release my grip on what I own and ask you to make me content, generous, and free, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
