Turn from pride and accept correction before hardening sets in

Keep going as before and hope the warning was only symbolic

Treat the warning as proof that God has rejected you forever

Talk about judgment while leaving your habits untouched

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit my pride and my sin. I have tried to rule my own life, and I need your mercy and forgiveness. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and ask you to be my Lord and Savior. Humble me, forgive me, and make me yours. Amen.

Come to Jesus in Humility

Lord, revive your Church with reverence and humility. Where we have grown proud, warn us in mercy; where we have ignored your voice, make us teachable; where we have chased strength without holiness, bring us back to obedience. Let your people bear the fruit of repentance and honor your rule again, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your People to Listen

Father, I confess the places where I have acted as if I cannot be brought low. Cut down what is proud in me, keep what is good, and teach me to walk softly before you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

A Prayer for a Teachable Heart

Thank God that his judgments are not empty destruction: even in hard words, he leaves room for restraint, preservation, and future renewal. Give thanks for the ways he limits harm and keeps hope alive.

Thanks for Mercy in the Warning

Name one warning or correction you have been resisting. Ask God to show you what to lay down, what to keep, and how to respond with humility instead of panic.

Pray About the Pride You May Be Ignoring

Pray for leaders, parents, pastors, and anyone with influence, that they would not trust their own strength, but would hear God's warnings and turn quickly. Ask God to keep them humble, teachable, and safe from pride's collapse.
