He waited outside until the danger had passed

Lord, revive your Church to be steady like Daniel: quick to pray, rich in thanksgiving, and faithful when pressure rises. Restore our courage, deepen our devotion, and make us a people who keep turning toward you with open hearts, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, thank you for Daniel's example of praying and giving thanks before you. Teach me to remember your goodness when life feels unsettled, and to let gratitude shape my voice as well as my prayers.
