They do not rise with the horn's own strength

Their strength comes directly from the horn

Hold your plans with humility and trust God more than visible power

Attach yourself to whichever side looks strongest right now

Assume a strong beginning guarantees a strong ending

Treat influence itself as proof that something is right

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have trusted my own strength and the powers of this world more than you. I admit my sin and my need for mercy. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and receive you as my Lord and Savior. Reign over my life with your lasting power. Amen.

Trust the One Whose Power Lasts

Lord, revive your Church where we have leaned on status, numbers, influence, or our own strength. Break our pride, teach us to depend on your kingdom, and make us faithful when earthly power shifts. Let us stand in your power alone, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Renew a Humble Church

Father, when what looks strong around me begins to fail, steady my heart. Keep me from fear, from grasping control, and from trusting what cannot last. Help me rest in your faithful rule, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

When Security Shakes

Name one situation where control is shifting. Ask God to show you what is temporary, what is true, and what humble step to take next. Pray for a heart that trusts him more than visible strength.

Pray Through a Change of Power

Give thanks for: God's rule that does not depend on human force; mercy when proud things are broken; the chance to trust him when earthly strength changes.

Thank You for a Kingdom That Lasts

Pray for: leaders and institutions tempted to trust power; communities facing uncertainty; that God would humble what is proud and give people wisdom to rely on what is lasting.
