Test their claims and character before giving them your trust

Follow quickly, because confidence usually proves someone is right

Assume mystery itself means the person speaks for God

Wait until harm is obvious to everyone before making a judgment

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I have lived in rebellion and sinned against you. I need your mercy and your rule over my life. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and confess you as my Lord and Savior. Make me yours and teach me to follow you. Amen.

Come Under Your Rule

Lord, revive your Church where we have admired strength more than truth. Purify us from corruption, wake us from spiritual dullness, and make us humble, discerning, and steady when proud voices rise. Let your people shine with wisdom and integrity, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church with Humble Discernment

Pray by naming one leader, message, or decision that feels persuasive right now. Ask God to show you what is true, what is merely impressive, and what should be refused.

Ask for Clear Sight

Bring these to God: pride that resists correction, attraction to power without character, and any hidden rebellion in your own heart. Ask him to make you honest, obedient, and clean before him.

Turning from a Rebel Heart

Lord, keep me from being drawn in by force without truth. Give me a sober mind, a steady heart, and courage to test what I hear. Help me trust what is right and refuse what is false, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Guard My Mind

Give thanks that no rebellion escapes God’s notice and no ruler outruns his timing. Praise him that he sees the rise and fall of kingdoms, and that his wisdom is greater than every mystery.
