Daniel 9:17:1וְעַתָּ֣הveataand now
Daniel 9:17:2שְׁמַ֣עshemahear Daniel 9:17:3אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּeloheenooour God Daniel 9:17:4אֶל־תְּפִלַּ֤תeltefilatto the prayer of Daniel 9:17:5עַבְדְּךָ֙avdekhayour servant Daniel 9:17:6וְאֶל־תַּ֣חֲנוּנָ֔יוveeltakhanunaivand to his pleas for favor Daniel 9:17:7וְהָאֵ֣רvehaerand cause to shine Daniel 9:17:8פָּנֶ֔יךָpanekhayour face Daniel 9:17:9עַל־מִקְדָּשְׁךָ֖almikdashekhaupon your sanctuary Daniel 9:17:10הַשָּׁמֵ֑םhashamemthe desolated one Daniel 9:17:11לְמַ֖עַןlemaanfor the sake of Daniel 9:17:12אֲדֹנָֽי׃adonaiLord
17. Formal Translation
And now, O our God, listen to the prayer of Your servant and to his supplications, and cause Your face to shine upon Your sanctuary, which is desolate, for Your own sake, O Lord.
17. Dynamic Translation
So now, our God, please hear Your servant’s prayer and his heartfelt requests, and make Your face shine on Your ruined temple, all for Your own sake, O Lord.
