Thank God for speaking through his word, for remembering his people in long seasons of trouble, and for giving us a written record to read with care. Thank him that grief and desolation are not forgotten by him.

Pray by naming one situation where you need clarity. Ask God to help you search his word carefully, to show you what he has already said, and to give you peace while you wait to understand.

Pray for Understanding Before You Decide

Pray for people, neighborhoods, and churches that feel stuck in a long season of loss. Ask God to give them endurance, honest hope, and the comfort of his steady attention.

Hope for Places That Feel Ruined

Father, train me to slow down, read carefully, and obey what you have actually said. Guard me from guesswork and from rushing past your word. Give me a humble heart that keeps listening until I understand and act wisely, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
