17. Formal Translation For the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheikhem, Impartial Ruler} is the God over all gods and the Lord over all lords, the great God, the mighty and the awe-inspiring, who does not show partiality and does not accept a bribe. |
17. Dynamic Translation For the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheikhem, Exalted Over All} is God of gods and Lord of lords—the great, mighty, and awe-inspiring God—who is not biased toward anyone and who takes no bribe. |
