17. Formal Translation And the anger of the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Judge} will burn against you, and He will shut up the heavens so that there will be no rain, and the land will not give its produce, and you will quickly perish from the good land which the LORD is giving to you. |
17. Dynamic Translation Then the LORD will become angry with you, and He will shut up the skies so that there will be no rain, and the earth will yield no crops, and you will perish quickly from the good land which the LORD {Yahweh, Land Giver} is giving to you. |
