| 5. Formal Translation The officers shall speak to the people, saying, “Is there a man who built a new house but has not dedicated it? Let him go back to his house, so that he does not die in the battle and another man dedicate it.” |
| 5. Dynamic Translation Then the officers will say, “If anyone has built a new house but has not dedicated it, he should return home, lest he die in battle and another man dedicate it.” |
