Deuteronomy 20:5:1וְדִבְּר֣וּvedibrooand shall speak

5. Formal Translation
The officers shall speak to the people, saying, “Is there a man who built a new house but has not dedicated it? Let him go back to his house, so that he does not die in the battle and another man dedicate it.”
5. Dynamic Translation
Then the officers will say, “If anyone has built a new house but has not dedicated it, he should return home, lest he die in battle and another man dedicate it.”
