| 25. Formal Translation But if in the field the man finds the young woman who is engaged, and the man seizes her and lies with her, then the man who lay with her alone shall die. |
| 25. Dynamic Translation But if a man meets a betrothed young woman out in the countryside and forces himself on her and has sex with her, only the man who did this must die. |
