11. Formal Translation For only Og, king of Bashan, remained from the remnant of the Rephaim. Behold, his bedstead—an iron bed—is it not in Rabbah of the children of Ammon? Its length is nine cubits {amot: ancient measurement, about 13.5 feet/4.1 meters}, and its width four cubits by the cubit of a man. |
11. Dynamic Translation Og, the king of Bashan, was the last survivor of the Rephaim. Look—his ’arso of iron still stands in Rabbah, the city of the Ammonites. It is over thirteen feet long and six feet wide. |
