12. Formal Translation From this land that we took at that time—from Aroer by the wadi of Arnon and including half the hill country of Gilead with its towns—I assigned it to the Reubenite and to the Gadite. |
12. Dynamic Translation At that time we seized this territory from Aroer beside the Arnon River, and I allotted it to the Reubenites and the Gadites, including half of the hill country of Gilead and its towns. |
