17. Formal Translation
And the Arabah, with the Jordan as the border, extended from Kinneret to the Sea of the Arabah—the Salt Sea—beneath the slopes of Pisgah, to the east.
17. Dynamic Translation
The flatlands, the Jordan River, and the border stretching from Lake Kinneret to the Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea) lie below the rugged hillsides of Pisgah on the east side.
