2. Formal Translation So that you may fear the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheikha, Covenant King} by keeping all his statutes and his commandments that I command you— you, your son, and your grandson— all the days of your life, and so that your days may be prolonged. |
2. Dynamic Translation This is so that you and your children and your grandchildren may revere the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheikha, Faithful Protector} by keeping all his commands I am giving you, for as long as you live, and so that you may enjoy long life. |
