18. Formal Translation Being darkened in their understanding, they are alienated from the life of God {Theos, Personal Life-Giver} because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardness of their heart. |
18. Dynamic Translation Their minds have become darkened, and they have been cut off from the life that God {Theos, Life-Giver} gives, because of the ignorance that exists in them, due to the stubbornness of their hearts. |
