17. Formal Translation This therefore I say and testify in the Lord {Kyrios, Divine Authority}, that you no longer walk as also the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind. |
17. Dynamic Translation So I tell you this, and I insist on it in the Lord {Kyrios, Christ’s Authority}, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the emptiness of their thinking. |
