| 27. Formal Translation And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned at the turning of the morning to its full strength; and the Egyptians were fleeing toward it, and the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Deliverer} overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea. |
| 27. Dynamic Translation Moses reached out his hand over the sea, and at daybreak the sea went back to its normal state. As the Egyptians were running toward it, the LORD {Yahweh, Rescuer} swept them into the midst of the sea. |
