Exodus 17:12:1וִידֵ֤יvideand the hands of

12. Formal Translation
When the hands of Moses became heavy, they brought a stone and set it beneath him, and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on each side, so that his hands stayed steady until the sun went down.
12. Dynamic Translation
Moses’s hands grew weary, so they set a stone beneath him as a seat. Aaron and Hur lifted his hands on either side, and his hands remained firm until sunset.
