| 16. Formal Translation On the third day, when morning arrived, there were sounds and lightnings, and a heavy cloud lay on the mountain; the sound of a shofar was extremely loud, and all the people in the camp trembled. |
| 16. Dynamic Translation When morning came on the third day, thunderous sounds and flashes of lightning broke out, a thick cloud hung over the mountain, and a very loud blast from a ram’s horn sounded; everyone in the camp shook with fear. |
