22. Formal Translation And the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Judge} said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand toward the heavens, so that hail may fall upon all the land of Egypt—upon human beings, upon animals, and upon every plant of the field in the land of Egypt.” |
22. Dynamic Translation The LORD {Yahweh, Supreme Ruler} told Moses, “Reach out your hand toward the sky, and hail will fall over the whole land of Egypt—on people, on animals, and on every plant in the fields of Egypt.” |
