4. Formal Translation And the glory of the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Presence} was lifted up from above the cherub and stood on the threshold of the house. The house was filled with the cloud, and the court was filled with the brightness of the LORD’s glory. |
4. Dynamic Translation Then the LORD’s {Yahweh, Visible Majesty} glory rose from above the cherub to the temple entrance. The temple was filled with a cloud, and the courtyard glowed with the shining brightness of the LORD’s glory. |
