Source Text: Hebrew (WLC) Ezekiel 16:39:1 ⧉וְנָתַתִּ֨יvenatattiand I will give Ezekiel 16:39:2 ⧉אוֹתָ֜ךְotakhyou Ezekiel 16:39:3 ⧉בְּיָדָ֗םbeyadaminto their hand Ezekiel 16:39:4 ⧉וְהָרְס֤וּveharsuand they will tear down Ezekiel 16:39:5 ⧉גַבֵּךְ֙gabekhyour mound or vaulted chamber Ezekiel 16:39:6 ⧉וְנִתְּצ֣וּvenittsetsuand they will break down Ezekiel 16:39:7 ⧉רָמֹתַ֔יִךְramotayikhyour high places Ezekiel 16:39:8 ⧉וְהִפְשִׁ֤יטוּvehifshituand they will strip Ezekiel 16:39:9 ⧉אוֹתָךְ֙otakhyou Ezekiel 16:39:10 ⧉בְּגָדַ֔יִךְbegadayikhof your garments Ezekiel 16:39:11 ⧉וְלָקְח֖וּvelakhuand they will take Ezekiel 16:39:12 ⧉כְּלֵ֣יkelearticles of Ezekiel 16:39:13 ⧉תִפְאַרְתֵּ֑ךְtifarettekhyour splendor or your beauty Ezekiel 16:39:14 ⧉וְהִנִּיח֖וּךְvehinnikhukhand they will leave you Ezekiel 16:39:15 ⧉עֵירֹ֥םeromnaked Ezekiel 16:39:16 ⧉וְעֶרְיָֽה׃veeryaand bare |
| 39. Formal Translation And I will give you into their hand, and they will tear down your mound and break down your high places. They will strip you of your garments and take your vessels, leaving you naked and bare. |
