| 5. Formal Translation And Sarai said to Abram, “My wrong rests on you. I gave my female servant into your lap, and when she saw that she had conceived, I became despised in her eyes. Let the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Arbiter} judge between you and me.” |
| 5. Dynamic Translation Sarai said to Abram, “This harm to me is because of you. I gave my servant girl to you, and now that she knows she is pregnant, she treats me with contempt. May the LORD {Yahweh, Justice Giver} decide between you and me.” |
