| 7. Formal Translation Now return the man’s wife, for he is a prophet; he will pray for you, and you shall live. But if you do not return her, know that you shall surely die—you and all that are yours. |
| 7. Dynamic Translation Now give the man back his wife, because he is a prophet, and he will pray for you so that you will live. But if you refuse to return her, be sure that you and everyone who belongs to you will die. |
