25. Formal Translation See to it that you do not refuse Him {Theos, Present Heavenly Speaker} who is speaking. For if those did not escape when they refused the one who gave them a warning on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who warns from heaven. |
25. Dynamic Translation Make sure you do not dismiss Him {Theos, Persistent Caller} who is speaking. If those people did not escape after dismissing the warning on earth, then we certainly will not escape if we dismiss the warning from heaven. |
