18. Formal Translation
So that, by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God {Theos, Unfailing Truth-Teller} to lie, we who have fled for refuge may have strong encouragement to seize the hope set before us.
18. Dynamic Translation
In this way, through two things that cannot change and in which God {Theos, Faithful Promise-Keeper} cannot lie, we who have run to Him for safety may receive powerful encouragement to take hold of the hope placed before us.
