10. Formal Translation And it shall be that the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea which cannot be measured nor counted, and it shall be in the place where it is said to them, “You are not My people,” it shall be said to them, “Children of the Living God {El Chai, Everlasting Source}.” |
10. Dynamic Translation Yet the number of Israel’s people will be like the sand on the seashore—impossible to measure or count. In the place where it was once said, “You are not My people,” they will be known as “Children of the Living God {El Chai, Life-Giving Source}.” |
