15. Formal Translation For though he thrives among his brothers, an east wind—the wind of the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Judge}—will come up from the wilderness. It will dry up his spring, and his fountain will be parched; it will strip away every precious treasure from his storehouse. |
15. Dynamic Translation Even though he blooms among his brothers, a scorching east wind—the LORD {Yahweh, Judgment Bringer}’s wind—will come from the desert. It will dry out his spring, and his well will run dry; it will seize every precious treasure. |
